Second Banner?!

I made a main Page banner for DT at the request of Dark Sabre. So, here it is.

how do you make the backgrounds on you're sigs, goody?

I use GIMP for my backgrounds. I make a flame and copy paste it, then copy paste those 2, then those 4, then those 8, etc. Until it doesn't look to repetitious. The I put gradients over it for color.

when you do that, do you you desaturate the flames first or no?

who ever said i didn't notice that? i know he doesn't have anything else. Why'd you even ask that? It's not as though i asked him any questions that would have anything to do with what he uses.

I downloaded a new font I want to use (Trixie plain, what RATM used) how do I get it into PS? It's on my desktop right now. (I'm on a a mac if it matters)

well i can tell you how to do it on a pc, i don't know if there are similarities on the mac or not, what you do on a pc is; you go into you're control panel under the settings menu in the start menu, and then open the fonts folder, then click and drag the font in. so if there are any folders like that in a mac, possibly look in there, im not sure.

EDIT: maybe this will help?
1. Insert the disc that contains the new font, or copy the font to your hard disk from another location.
2. Double-click the icon for the font in the Finder. Font Book opens and displays the font so you can see what the font looks like.
3. Click Install Font.
You're done.

I do only use GIMP. I've said that, a lot.
